Default Almost stolen

They almost stole my civic. They must have had a key, but I have a shift lock on her so she wasnt budging. My doors were open so was my hood and the switch was turned back to acc. I just installed hood pins and locked them down, (looks bad), but living in the Bronx, ya gotta watch your back. Thats probably one reason Honda guys dislike other Honda guys, they run around swiping each others parts!! Im gonna rekey my locks (more unexpected work) Oh well at least I live to fight another day.

Multi-Lock makes a Device that bolts to the frame of the car to the comsole, the shackle is then secured to the padlock through the shifter in park or in my case reverne. The bolts are not removable (unless cut) and the key passage is pick resistant the shackle is hardened steel. Cost is app. 300 installed Popular in NY.

I don't think they had a key. Honda's are one of those cars that you might as well leave them unlocked because they are so easy to get into.

I never locked my car in NC. got broken into twice. once they stole my ask tray/change. the next time they stole my gerber tool. I still never locked my car. :P

My car doors are unlocked, and my windows are down as we speak on my current civic. I dont even know if the ****** locks.

everyone i know uses a auto-lock as protection. it's like hte club, only it goes on the clutch (or brake if it's an auto) and puts steel between the pedal and the floor, so it can't be pressed. plus, it gives better deduction on insurance than an alarm (well, at least in my case)

i heard in cananananada, in some places people leave their house doors unlocked, probably cars too. crazy canuks

im trying to get new locks for my civ, where are you getting yours from?
