Re:For all the welders
Well, Titanium can be Arc welded, either GTAW (gas-tungsten) or GMAW (gas-metal). Those I know off hand, but I know there are others too. Go to a real welding shop, not some shitty ass exhaust shop.

Re:For all the welders
Good Luck. Ti is to weld right. The heatshields in the engine bay of the jets i work on are titanium. Every time we pull a motor out we find cracks in those fuckers. It was explained to me by 1 of our metals tech guys that titanium has poor thermal conductivity but a very high melting point. That means the temp window for a good weld is very narrow. I would just clamp that ----.

Re:For all the welders
It can be welded, but you need to Tig it with Ti filler rod(or fuse it if it's not a big crack) but you need to build an add on to your gas cup. Ti needs to be constantly shielded even after welding for a few seconds. The cup add on is fairly easy, but it's tough to weld with it on there.
