Default All the Electronic Smart People

Ok I want to run leds behind my guage cluster but I know that the lights behind there are going to be to much to run leds Here is the specs for the leds.

3.7 volts
20mA
2600mcd not sure what that is

What I want to know is how do I get the voltage down to that level and amperage?

Resistors! Weee!

I had the same idea recently, stock DX cluster is dim as ----, havn't pulled it apart yet though. I'm way too lazy at the moment to figure out what current the stock cluster lights work on, but I'm fairly certain that getting LED's to work is only a few inline resistors away, you won't be able to adjust brightness tho.

didn't know they made them in 12 volt. expensive? Well what I was thinking since I posted this was that make a sub harness that has on wire coming from a power source (light switch) and run them in parralle so that the voltage stays the same. That way I don't have to hack up the gauge cluster. I just have to find out what voltage is coming off of there.
