All 4 pistons are broke, Damm it
Pulled my pistons today to see waht they looked like, before I put my head back.be cause at first I htought it was a head gasket. and all 4 piston are broke. The rings them selfs look fine, but its the spot in between the rings that are cracked and broke off. they were supoose to be wesico pistons and rings, is there any way to tell if there the factory pistons or after market? sorry no pics, My camera is broke. any ideas why they broke like that?

Usually OE pistons have the model stampped into the top. like CRX Si pistons are stampped PM6. b16a1 are pr3. etc...

they probably say the brand on the underside if they are aftermarket

theres only a couple pistons that can even be used in a non-sleeved H series due to the FRM sleeves.....

the only thing it says is IN P14 than than the letter B is stamped in the middle.

Sucks man.. crazy that you were only boosting 5-6psi and all the ringlands broke, I think you should take your girl out tonite, get really shitty drunk and just take it out in the bedroom. ;D
