Default aliment + traction bars

so before i can insure my car i have to do a safety and body integrity inspections
and for those i need to do aliment
i figure i should put my springs and shocks in before i go so i dont have to do it 2 times
but im wondering about traction bars
any one know it they can change your aliment when installed and/or can a shop do it with them installed?

depends on the traction bars, but I would hope that you bought one that is adjustable...

may as well throw the suspension in and skip the second alignment, just make sure you'll be fine for ground clearance for your inspection. if not, spend the extra money on the second alignment.

Install the traction bars and dial in as much positive castor as you can get.

You will need to realign the vehicle after you do so, period.

I thought I was the only person who did this. So many people say "oh, but you'll ruin the bushings", little bitches. I want my traction bars to work the best they can and track really well and that means PRELOAD THEM MAFUCKAs.

Positive caster would be the tire sitting closer to the fron bumper yes?

Yes, but unfortunately it creates a really, REALLY BAD toe-out situation. I just knocked the tierods loose and turned them both the amount of times to bring it back to center...ish, or a least so that it doesn't want to pull like mad once the steering gets a little off center.
