you live in germany, your lucky he would even send it to you because of hassels like this. Granted you didn't get a "stainless" tank, a real man (not bitchasscracker) would send him his money. I know I would.

hold on, i have one question about the refund.
did the seller refund it or did you get your money back on your own through paypal or your cc?
if the seller refunded it then i would either refund the money or send him back the box if he pays for shipping.

if you had to deal with getting your money back and he didn't do anything, i'd keep the money. chances are he didn't pay out of pocket for that refund anyway.
there is no reason to send him the money back if he still has the money. that's like getting paid 2x for one thing.

The tank I made for my kit is aluminum, I knew there could be a problem but had the material laying around so said the hell with it. I'm running a little more than 50% alcohol and just from looking inside the tank I don't see anything bad happening yet. But it's only been on the car a few months now.

Aluminum will get that nice, cloudy aluminum oxide finish if it were being consumed.

The tank you got looks damn nice, is it anodized? Isn't anodized aluminum safe to alchy?

I am upset about the deal, but I have a concience however that is spelt. so I will return the payment now.

edit:
refund issued, now if he have any concience he will send me half the money back, but knowing human nature he will get mad at me for laying it down about how I feel about the deal.

no its plain, its the same type of aluminum as the battery box, I was looking for fuel tank sealer to coat the inside but being in germany certain things are hard to find
right now I have windshield washer fluid in it, about 37% methanol, when I run at the track I run 50/50.
I like the can because it looks good, and it holds 1.5 gallons, the one it replaces holds 2 quarts.
