good job on the setup. seems like you did everything yourself including the welding. upgrading should be easy to you.
nice radiator and mount btw.

Yeah, i've done everything myself on the setup, except for making the manifold to turbo adapter. My welding still leaves some things to be desired, but i've gotten alot better, and things would've turned out even better still if i hadn't ran out of argon for the mig. It took me one day to put the setup on from start to finish...8am until 60pm nonstop. I want to get a set of the tuner toys rods when they have more in stock, but as far as pistons go, i'm still at a loss...my budget is a bit tighter now than it used to be, especially with a mortgage now to deal with and all the extras that come with owning a home. I've thought of the Vitara pistons, but they still don't appeal that much to me seeing they're still cast and not forged. Anyone know of a site to get a forged set at a budget price?

yeah, but are they gonna handle some serious abuse? That's my biggest concern...i want to take this TDo5h to the max, and i want to be sure my motor will handle it. I've seen the occasional "225hp on vitara's", but how long will it last is my beef.

Actually, the rad has no lean to it at all. What i did was bend up the lip on the front crossmember and cut it off with a sawzall, set the rad down in the gap, and bent a piece of sheet metal to hold the rad in place. It doesn't move, and even with the lip cut out and recessed in the lower rad hose still fits on nicely. I did however have to cut a small hole in the hood (just the bracing on the underside) in order to fit the radiator cap correctly with the hood closed. I'll try and get some pics of it tomorrow for ya if you want.
