Ok heres the deal, my friends.
I have a built LS but the integra shell is beat to ----. I've been wanting to get a EF hatch to swap for a long time now and I've found 2 in the area. the first one is a decent body for $800. it comes w/ 2 D15s. One has a spun rod bearing, but the head is good and the other is a good long block. I figured I could jew him down on the price a bit and sell the blocks to make the total cost of the hatch even cheaper. Problem with this is, I'm still looking for a vtec head to build up. Next hatch is 4k. Body is good, minor dents here and there. It has a all-motor LS build w/ a BUILT gsr head. A lot of money was put into the headwork on this car. Car ran mid 12s last time I've heard. Of course, I have no interest in an all motor setup, I'm a proud member of HMT and not HT. I do have a guy willing to buy the shortblock in it though. So here's the dilemma. Should I buy the cheap hatch and wait for a good deal on a head and build it up or would it be cheaper to buy the all-motor hatch, keep the GSR head, and sell the shorty?
