Jagojon, I got to hand it to you. I was in the liquor store looking at Admiral Nelson, and I like my Captain Morgan a lot, thinking "11 bucks for a liter of rum is pretty cheap, but that price has I suck written all over it. Ah ---- it"

After having some, I think I found one of my new favorites.

That'll be next on my "alcohol to try" list. How is it comparable to the captain? Better or just as good but different?

;D One of the brands i handle, good stuff for the price. It runs about 6.99 for a 750ml and bout 14.95 for a 1.75ml. A few package stores in town go through about 2 cases (24 btls) a week. Lotta places are switching over to Admiral as their well rum. They have a silver, gold, and coconut variety. ;) Keep an eye out, every now and then the 1.75s comes w/ free shot glasses or a small nylon travel bag. :D

yeah I think is has a TINY amount more of bite than captain, but it's pretty comparable. I'd put it right up there with captain. Even better that it's like $11-$12 bucks for a 1L not that 750mL ----.

Been mixing Barbarosa and coke, and montego bay for other stuff.

I'll look for this admiral nelson next time im at the alphabet store.

Way less vanilla and fruity flavors than captain. Admiral is the best!

Occasionally they will give away free stuff with their 1.75L bottles. I have gotten a bunch of admiral shirts, admiral shot glasses, and some random plum vodka sample (all attached to the bottle, lol)
