Re:adapter plate ?
you could spend that much on making your own. unless you get the hook-up on materials.

Re:adapter plate ?
if you got the resources make your own, at HMT saving money is what it's all about ;)

Re:adapter plate ?
i built my first two plates and after a million cuts and tons of swearing they were still shitty. heres my first one, only paid 5 bux..
http://www.hondaswap.com/gallery/ima...30821919cb.jpg my skillz suck but what do u expect if all u got is a drill and a dremel? :( my second was a bit better but for the 40 bux that BMC charges its money well spent. ;) |

Re:adapter plate ?
actally it was in my garage. i paid five bux to get it cut in half. ;D man those were the early HMT days...

Re:adapter plate ?
It can work out well for you, goto a welding metal supply place and pick up a piece of scrap.
Then you will need a drill press, drill bits, dremel, circle saw kit and some patience. Anything is possible. |

Re:adapter plate ?
Hardest part is going to be making that hole and then port matching it. I use to use a Big drill press that would go down real slow like 115rpm's and a good metal hole saw. Or.. (its sloppy) get a torch and just blow a hole in the fucker, it takes way longer to port it because the edges look like ----. But I agree I'd do it yourself..

Re:adapter plate ?
I built all my flanges by hand. They're easy with a drill press but you can also use a torch. If you keep the heat relatively low you can actually get some clean holes.

Re:adapter plate ?
thanx guys for the info....im gonna try it myself and if it doesnt work out...oh well i only spent $5....it should be some good practice at what i love to do and that is make ---- out of metal!!! ;D
