whenever you park it put the back end facing the street, turn the front wheels and pull up on the ebrake.
take the ecu out and there, they cant drive or tow it away. they'd need a flatbed to get your car.

Haha, that happens to me all the time too. People alway's reving as they drive by, leaving rubber marks, and even stopping to talk when they see me out. It's all good though, that stuff's been going on for years and I've never, EVER, had any problems.

Get an alarm now! Some people might be just checking it out but word will ------ and the wrong people will hear about it. An 88 accord isn't exactly fort knox either.
When my 1g was garaged for a year undergoing repairs/mods, cars I have never seen in my life stated coming through my "hood" and just rolling past or completely stopping and staring. I did my best to keep the garage door closed at all times, I can't say the same about my family. And I never even talked about the car online or to strangers.

sounds like someones looking forward to your car.
def.ly turn the steering wheel all the way to one side, use E-brake and set it in gear whenever you park.
If you care enough, put on a club everytime when you left the car, use the one made for SUVs', it`s a lot longer/thicker, look retarded but works good.
before when i had the civic, whenever i have to leave it parked for a long time, i use a club, AND two pedal lock on both brake and clutch, remove ECU. Remember if you are using pedal locks that hooks up to the steering wheel, LOWER the steering wheel all the way down.
my buddy also showed me how he had this switch hooked up to the PGM-FI relay, Whenever he left the car he flip a switch, and if it ever powers up without turning off the switch the relay will burn up.
There`s a lot of little stuff you can do to make it harder to be taken.
my best advise is to NOT show anyone what`s under your hood (which you already did ), and don`t even talk about it. Do not blow-off when you are near by your parking spot.

Re: The accord seems to be attracting alot of attention latley...
being just some chick who only knows a tid bit about cars, it would turn my head if you drove by because i have been carefully trained by my boyfriend to check out any Honda on the road- but most people dont really pay much attention to cars like accords or civics. they're so common and they arent really flashy or anything. The only people who are gonna go for your car are people who know a little more about cars than the average person, and theyd have to have figured out or been told what you did to it. Still, lock the doors and think about some kind of alarm system or something if youre that parinoid about it.
Also, dont put anything flashy in it like an expensive CD player or anything like that. People should stay out of it.
