Default accord people I need help or know it all honda geeks needed

I've been looking every where, and I can't find out if h23 or h22 connecting rods will fit the f22a1. I need to know if they will even work at all, the only f22a1 rods I can find cost around $700+ but I can get the h series rods for about half that price.

find the specs on the rods a simple search would tell you. took about 4 minutes.

no it wont work.

f22a1 Stock Bore: 3.346, 85.00mm Stroke: 3.740 Rod Length: 5.571 Head cc: 50.5 Gasket: .028 Deck: -.001

h22a1 Stock Bore: 3.425, 87.00mm Stroke: 3.571 Rod Length: 5.630 Head cc: 53.8 Gasket: .028 Deck: .005

ok i may be wrong, heres something for ya looks like the h23 rods may work.

friend just blew his f22, he could not find rods anywhere. Guy at the shop said the h22 rods would fit but he ended up having custom rods made for like 700.... mad money. So if the guy at the shop was right they should fit.

just use stock rods. heh. tune it next time maybe it wont blow up :P

edit: well i did some research. and f22 and h23 rods are indeed the same. the problem now is to find h23 rods. i searched and searched but found nothing. good ol honda-tech search function lead me to this. 249 bucks for a full set of china ----. but im sure it'll work your you can get some pauter rods for 700

I heard on cb7 that the h22 rods will work perfectly and I've seen eagle h beams for around $350 for the h22 so I'll more than likely go that route, and I'll tune it this time
