Cause insurance would probably give you more than what that person has in mind.

new OEM front bumper - ~$200
new OEM fender - ~$200
new OEM door - ~$$$$$$
right there you have a 700-1k price list. and that most likely does not include labor and paint.
My prices are from aftermarket replacement parts, so I am making a guess from these figures
aftermarket bumper ~$100
" fender ~ $100
" door ~ geez do they even make those.
when you have an accident, you never quote prices of parts you get on the street like a 35 dollar fender, you quote the 200 dollar brand new fender so you milk the insurance company.

exactly the figures I had in my head. I was figuring along the lines of 1.5k to 2.5k for the rip off shops, the ones that you wanna go to and get quotes from.
Lemme tell you a story, a buddy of mine has a hatch, the front tire blew out on him on the free way, dinged fender, ripped bumper, and some rocker damage, did an insurance claim, they labeled it a total lose. That was like a year ago, to this day the car still runs like a champ, just with a new paint job
My guess is that the person that hit you is gonna try to buy you off for about 500 bucks. I would just take it to insurance, cause keep in mind the other party still has to repair their vehicle, which from the looks of the damage will get quoted 800+.
At least give your insurance company a heads up that a claim might be filed, cause I think you are suppose to file such a claim within a period of time. And there is the possibility that through insurance the other party will deny responsibility. I hope you have some witnesses.

And dont let the insurance companies jerk you around. My hatch was totaled and they wanted to give me $800 (was $1k but they took off $200 for having a black hood). After holding out on a settlement for about 35 days the final offer was $1650 and I keep the car (damaged frame tho )... a little more than double there original offer.
