Acceptable shipping??

I have a rather long piece to ship, and it really isn't fragile . It's the steel dash with little pad from an old car. Can I just wrap the ---- out of this thing in bubble wrap and tape ? A taped up pile of cardboard covering it sure as hell won't prevent anything ... I want to just cover that bitch like crazy , will UPS accept it? and do think it is thoughtless to do so?

Call them and ask. My buddy that works for UPS told me there is a limit on the size of a box if you're looking to ship it ground.

When I get weird shaped ---- that needs to be shipped, I cut up boxes and tape the ---- out of them around whatever it is. The box looks like a clusterfuck when I'm done with it, but it gets where it needs to be. :6

When your package is sliding across rollers and beds of trucks and floors and ----, that bubble wrap is going to get tore the ---- up and caught on all kinds of ----. Cardboard will slide.

Haha, I did the same with a sway bar set I shipped. I delayed shipping it for like 3 days beause I couldn't find a box to ship it in. Finally I got creative and came up with that method.

My mom engineers boxes, so I just ask her to bring home some sheets of corrugated or I do the cluster ---- method.
