Ac Fan

Well I bought a KRBFab mani, dp, dp combo, but it seems that my turbo is too large to clear the ac fan...Would a slim 12" pusher fan work if mounted on the bumper side of the compressor?

Also, how in the hell do u get the stock fan off? You cant drop it from the bottom beacause of how the securing clips are made and the ac lines on the top prevent u from pulling it from the top

You have to pull the main or large fan out first. Ive just pulled them out and ran it without. Havent had a problem yet with the 5 or 6 I've done that way, but yeah a slim pusher on the outside of the condenser would work.

You can make the A/C condensor fan as thin as a slimline. Take a hammer and bend the metal mounts in just before the fan hits the condensor. Theres more clearence there than you think. Been running mine like that for 15k miles or so?

make sure the fan is mounted so it pushes air through the condensor

im surprised u've had no problems with no fan.. my auto-teacher told me ac flat out doesn't work without that fan unless the car is moving

I've always wired the main fan to come on with the ignition though. Works just fine.
