Haha...good one.

The hardest part about installing them is getting the old suspension off. Since they don't have to be compressed they are so easy to put back on. I would start out at the middle setting and go from there. I dont know if you have sleeve type or full coilovers so thats all the help I can give you. :1

Getting your LCA bolts off is always a bitch, if your careful and have a nice breaker bar itll be alright, Id grab some new hardware fomr the store though, put a little antisieze on it

Other than the lca bolt holding the shock the install is cake, 2-3 hours by yourself with handtools

I can change all mine on a car in about 20min. But none of my bolts are seized and I've done a billion times. It's not hard, but you'll hate the ride!!!! Springs>Crappy Coils!

You will take out 4 main bolts on each side, maybe 2 more for brake lines.

You should get a spring compressor tool, abour $13 at your local autoparts shop, some of them let you borrow the tool for free. This is to safely take off your old springs from the strut/shock absorber.

Then slide the new ones in, bolt everything back into the car....

You will blow your struts in about 2 maybe 3 months, they are not made for the lowered suspension.

You will ruin your alignment, camber, etc, which will eat tires like a fat kid loves cake.

It will bounce like a mother, without upgraded shocks.

You will have to go thru potholes, railroad corssings and speedbumps like every other ricer at 2mph, or everything will jump and shake.

You can lower from 1.25" up to 4" on most coilovers. Cheap coilovers plus good gas struts(tokico, KYB) = pretty good ride for the price. Cheap coilovers plus stock shocks equals :-X.

Springs always > than sleeved on coilovers....

Full coilover/strut assembly > springs....

There's other forums on this site not just GD..... :-*
