ABAZ or SOMEONE KNOWLEGABLE : re-usable gaskets ???
hey i got a question...i just rebuild my b18A1 LS motor...i have NOT even put it in the car or has it ever been fired up in any fashion what so ever...now my question is can i re-use the head gasket even though ive torque down the head properly...will it be ok if i take the head off and make my motor an LS/VTEC 
? since it hasnt been really used yet i think it would be ok but i dont wanna build it and then take the chance of ------- it up. so let me know please. my intake gasket im gonna switch to a hondata intake gasket so im not worried about that.

Why don't you tell me what you would do if you had a 454 with 4 on the floor with a peachfuzz and a brodack, brother? With a gear sprocket bracket ratio of 5 to 7 with a hooker header and a holley double pumper manifold and a negative spark plug bracket resistance?

id do what tokyo image motorsport out here in lenexa with a brown crx did to one of those american cars....eat it alive...there was an old american car with a 454 long block in it and and whole bunch other ---- on it and he ran 11.58 and the crx was an ALL MOTOR LS/VTEC which ran 11.01. it was quite funny seeing him lose....he didnt say much all night to anyone.

p.s. and the only reason i asked for someone knowledgeble is because i figured it would get peoples attention that actually knew what they were doing instead of getting answers like " i think it might be ok but i dont know " i get tired of that ---- sometimes, it doesnt help me out any but if i get ppl like you answering then i get a straight answer. btw...thanks for responding

a 454 with 4 on the floor is a terrible cruising setup. If I was you, I'd get at least a five speed first to keep the revs down. That 5 to 7 ratio might make it work out though. Make sure and post once you get a quarter in.
