Stock springs are fine just use what you have. Jeff thought I was joking when I said the stock sohc non vtec springs can take a beating. I love sohc non vtec d16a6 motors. Rev them the **** out of them for fun those valve springs never fail. Has far has regrinds go stay with the delta grinds and their pricing has gone up lately still much cheaper than the masses
You will want to do a valve job for sure.

Single cams are slow and that motor has spun rod bearings
haha, just teasin...looks like you've got some work to do, good luck! Some food for thought tho, on the money you'll spend on a header, ZC pistons, rings, bearings, gaskets, and all that ----, you could probably buy an hf/adapter/t3 and build yourself a decent 8-10psi kit and be 20 times faster.

What kinda intake throttle body and intake combo do you like for this setup? I haven't really looked into that very much yet, but I was guessing y8 or ebay intake and 60mm b-series or having my a6 tb bored out would work. The stock intake/tb will be fine for now, but I'd eventually like to upgrade.

D15Baby8, all I'm gonna say about my E85 bitch
14.0:1 compression on OEM rods and pistons
My D15B7 with crane cam did 121 whp on a mustang dyno, about 130 whp on a Dynojet, about what wheeze did.
I'm looking for 145-150 whp without ITB's, I've already seen 165 whp with this cam on CBR 954's.
