Updated headgaskets, arp headstuds and egr cooler/egr valve eliminator kit is going in in 1.5 weeks(all sitting in the back seat) but I didn't count on this.

Well then its time for sticks and twins. And if you're doing that then you may as well do the trans.

the trans are good, I know lots of people running big power with the stock 5r110 or just a torque convertor. Unless of coarse your running big power, big tires and stock gears Keep the heat out of them and there fine but if it goes I will put a ats in with the converter.

I dont think I will ever go twins though, this is supossed to be my everyday driver, tow viehical ect. :1

so for the diesel un educated what are sticks? rods? or the shitty head bolts they put in those 6L's.

injectors, and yes the head bolts are kinda shitty but work fine if the truck is stock.

Same thing with the 46RE in my truck I have to replace it it slips like crazy. 660ft lbs tq is far more than it can take when towing and trailer for 40K miles and already having 140K on it.

My buddies 4r110 didn't last for ---- on his 7.3 with just intake, 5"exhaust, a juice with attitude, and a superchip. It's only on 285's and slow as ----. I'll take a CTD.

The 4r100 is not very tough stock, also the edge does nothing for reprograming the trans or uping line pressure. I should have mentioned with the 5r110 you need a good trans tune to go with the new power. All my tuning is from dj's (engine,trans and injector driver)
