honestly kain, if the insurance wants to total it...i would let them take it...you can buy a t2...and be much happier. if you fix that, you will always know in the back of your mind you are driving a wrecked car.

omg Frank made a decent and civilized post that had not only meaning...but compassion in it. those japs have done some weird sushi voo doo on you haven't they :P
kain, i am so sorry to hear about the wreck.
for an old car, yours was in really good shape. unfortunately though, i'm gonna have to agree with frank and say see how much the insurance would be willing to give you. if it's decent, total it. that way you won't have to spend all the money in your pocket to get it fixed. you could buy it back cheap, fix the majority of it yourself, then take it somewhere to get her fixed up real nice and the labor won't be as much since you did most of it yourself. ya know? then it's time to paint it that green color i showed you

lol well looking at it now, it seems mzda designed the door jams with a convenient self crumple zone so that it should be easy to fix. the fucked up thing is, i have to dukes of hazord my damn car cus the damn doors on both sides dont open cleanly anymore. the door opperates 100% correctly and the windows go down and it locks and unlocks and the door opens and closes fine. the thing is its got a crease down the whole dise of it. rather than ---- with the curviture of the door and try to use that to re align the body to that, i have decided to use a donor door. the rear quarter pael will then be cut out, and i will pop wivet a piece of sheet metal to the contour of it so that i willl do as little sheet metal as possible.
what color did you say you wanted me to paint it again mary?

Marys favorite color ( ill do what mary says naturally )
cobalt blue or some blue color
or just primer the bitch?

Pm me kain. Ive got so many doors and the quarter really isnt that bad. I have those to. Bring it by. I also have a TII I couls sell you. You only live like a half hour from my shop.
