It must have a dirty title. That is not a bad little pick up if it is a clean titled SI

Front end damage. The thing was probably "totalled" but never turned in. The minor exterior blemishes are from the frame being twisted slightly and this throwing the fitment off just a hair. Plus the repaint color may not be exactly spot on. If it's close go in and inspect it. Look for cut/new welds on the rad support and seam sealer in the engine bay and trunk area. These could be indicators of damage. Otherwise I see no reason why an Si would be $5k... should be more like $10k.

Wow. Si's here the last I checked were in the $10k range.. I may be wrong though. ---- EG's still go for $3-4k here in mint shape. Mine was only $1500 a few years ago but it was beat up.

Looks pretty clean. Good price, even for a theft recovery IMO.

Wouldn't hurt to call on it or go take a look at it. Make sure to check for frame damage and evidence of ---- debris on that horrible shift knob. :-\

Good damn deal if it's legit.

I paid $5k for my stock 97 ex a few years ago, and bank woulda fully financed because it was about $500 below book value. SIs were about 10k then or I would have opted for one...

Ok, well what do you call the front area that the headlights, fenders, hood, etc... bolt to? A core support. Is that better?

K, check for core support damage instead of frame damage.
