long story short, friend of mine couple days ago had someone hydroplane into his civic, destroying it, now he's trying to piece a couple different cars together......he doesnt have the net, wanted me to post the question for him.

the d series would proberly work BUT it will be a wireing nightmare. im crazy and i wouldnet even attempt it seeing it would utterly suck to have to splice all thoes connectors and crap. sell all the d series crap he has and get a B16A1 or find a B18A1.
