98 2DR Integra Trunk Problem PLEASE HELP!!!
 
My car doesnt have a manual release for the trunk, i hear from the actual lock but no response from the actuator and the trunk doesnt open:mad:.
Please help me with this annoying problem.

Let me know what you might think it is

i think the problem is you have a Honduh/AcurUH?

get a toyota they are more reliable :D

you are screwed, thats one rare thing to have happened to you the only thing you can do now is take the lock apart from inside the trunk..

try spraying it with greese and then keep trying to unlock it, cuz if u hear it it might just be stuck

how would i spray it wit grease when i cant get to it inside or out

if u cant figure that out on your own go to a mechanic.

there is a spot where you hold your hand when you pull the hatch up after its opened, that spot.. or get inside the trunk from inside your car and spray it....

drill out the old lock assembly and replace with new. If I remember right, you can have the tumblers set to fit your key before you put it back in

wow! why dont you just sell the car, becuase if you cant figure this out i dont want to see you even try to change your own oil. i mean seriously though this is simple problem that take a 12yr olds problem solving skills. that other guy is basically walking you through it and you still cant understand

ok u ------ dick head how would i get to the lock assembly when its closed and i cant get it open which is the ------ problem

happens some times, u gotta make sure the cables from the release are not rusted. take off the release and yank on the cable with pliers. then grease up the lock if u get it open
