Pay for a name brand? Yeah, okay buddy. I mean, just because you seem to hate everyone who has a different opinion than you, you must know everything there is to know about life, doesn't it. I was just pointing out that Honda's motor technology is not better than BMWs, as you claimed.

And if you think Honda has motor technology superior to BMW, then why can the S54 motor take boost at 11.5:1 CR and the Type R motors have major issues with anything over 10psi on a half decent turbo? Honda's fuel system technology is years behind BMW's.
Yeah, there are pros and cons to being years ahead... you run into a lot of ------- problems. There are more electrical parts, relays, switches and fuses on my 325 to keep me busy for a long time... and it will because there are a lot of probelms, especially since my car is 12 years old :P

It takes a lot of work just to keep the regular maintenance on these cars as they get older. I'd like to get a new BMW, but I don't exactly have the funds for that... and if I did actually have like 50 grand, it'd be toward a house.

I am drunk as ---- right now, but, the maintenance on an older BMW isn't all that bad. Lot of my friends have older E30 M3's that get run at Summit Point, and they have little to no major issues. What is hard to maintain, old Jaguar E Type V12. Get the I6 Jag and you'll be faster...

This is my exactly my point. mycrx keeps thinking that honda engineered motors are top notch. there not. sure their easier and more fun to work on for a budget diy-er. but just because you love one company doesnt mean that you cant appreciate a better engineered competitor. if you go around life being as closed-minded as you are here, you WILL be a failure in life.

i will restate my previous comment towards you mycrx. people like you that have their honda-elitest attitude are the people that always have and always will give other honda guys a bad name. pretty much like MOST mustang drivers, its not so much the car that i dont like, its the person's personality that comes along with it
