93 Civic LX Question

Just underneith and to the right of the battery, there is a plug in the firewall with a cable coming through it...i found it today and its clipped...anyone know what this is...

I look on my 92' LX (automatic) and the firewall is just plugged, with no wire.

12 volt power to the subs I take it? You know, most honda's came with a rubber plug in the firewall under the battery, so when you wanna run a line or something through it, you wouldnt have to drill a new hole.
