that thing is ------ sick. massive power to weight ratio. and 15-1 compression :o.

SkunT 06-29-2005 07:24 AM

Re: 92 RWD Vivic Si

a powerglide with a stall converter, and the right gear ratio might be pretty nice for the 8th mile. :-\

what a waste of a good hatch. Whats wrong with drifting? Your e-brake slides aren't cool enough?

Re: 92 RWD Civic Si

pretty unique but not near as unique as the h22 in the rear of a del sol and rwd

87na_rx7 06-29-2005 12:17 PM

Re: 92 RWD Civic Si

the h22 in the back of the del sol was stupid, ive seen the videos on it and they couldnt even get it to do a good donut

Re: 92 RWD Civic Si

There's some moron around here that is going to put a Skyline GTS (not GTR, GTS) motor into an EK civic. He's got the money to do it, and the lack of brains to have it done. I'll just have fun running circles around his car with my honda car and it's honda motor.

The one in Super Street magazine (s2k miata)?

I saw a 283 powered 1983 accord hatch once. that was sweet.

GenLx 06-30-2005 06:15 PM

Re: 92 RWD Civic Si

ahem...i said I wanted a RWD accord, i know they've been done ;) they are freaking sweet, i've seen em done a few times before, i'm jealous as hell. jdm wagons are rwd but its damn near impossible to get the parts over here for them, plus they are too long anyways...like i said, time and money kill my dreams

that car will probably fly...reminds me of that 9 second Geo Metro hatch with the GNT motor slapped into it

Re: 92 RWD Civic Si

Looks like fun, but the short wheelbase can be a PITA.
A guy in Iceland built a fiberglass body tube chassis Willys Coupe '43, with a blown 540 on alcohol.
That thing couldn't hook or go straight to save it's life. Off the line it just burned the tires with the front end up in the air. And down the track it was the same story, anything more than half throttle would just burn the massive slicks, at over 120mph.
