92 radiator in an 89

obviously this has been done many times, but i am going to have to use a 92 radiator for turbo clearance, just trying to get some feedback on it, will i be better off to lean the top back and make custom top brackets, or to cut a chunck of the cross member out and build custom lower brackets

are there any "how to's" on this posted anywhere?

no way, the radiator filled up cant be more than 5 lbs, it would take more than that to bust 4 zip ties, the only thing i could see happening is they might melt, and even then i doubt it would melt all 4

Zip ties work on everything. used an *** of them on a friends turbo project...had to put 92 rad in his 00 teg.

Tie wraps are the ----. At one point in time the front end of my daily driver was almost completely hold togheter with it. Makes easy and fast dismanteling though.
