92' Daytona

I have bought a 1992 Daytona... thus not looking into it untill after i find there was other engine types with alot more power then the 4 cyl in mine they have made the model up from mine with a a Turbo... my question would be where would i go about adding a turbo...even if taken from another daytona w/ the turbo on from a wrecker ?
any help or comment would be great

Uhm, well I'm not sure but i think my dodge shadow had the same engine as a daytona (2.5L) and pretty much from what i looked up you'd need to swap to the turbo motor or build the motor a bit to boost it safely. I'd say just go to the junkyard and find what cars had the same turbo motor as the daytona and pull everything off for the turbo setup...Matt

it depends if its a 2.2 or 2.5. your best bet would just to buy a Shelby Z or the CS which i plan to get soon. plus the 2.5 version has the a-555 tranny which is superb! also you can run 13psi on the 2.5 blocks till you hit fuel cut. ;)

Check out this web site http://thedodgegarage.com/
It has some good info. You can make these cars fly for no money. Dodge used to have an over the counter kit for the turbo Omni that gave it 300HP, it was called the supper 60 kit or something. The car would run 12s. That was one bad little sit box

motor swap time. that turbo motor thats in the shelby is bulletproof, from what ive read/heard about. lots of power can be made with little or no internal mods.

also, those cars are super cheap to make real fast.

it should handle, but if you plan on swapping to a 5spd make sure you get the a-555 tranny.
