91 teg (new car)
well i got a new car... the problem is that its hit in the front and the insurance company totaled it... it needs.. hood fenders bumper, and core support... it gots a b18a1 in it and i was wondering is it even worth fixing if i have to have the state patrol inspect it after wards... ive heard that there tests are very hard to pass.. another option is gut it... and buy a crx or civic and do a b18a1 swap... what do u guys think?

Re:91 teg (new car)
im not sure what it takes to get it back into shape to make it legal again, but buying a crx isnt a bad idea. im putting a b18b in my crx, and this is easier cuz u have everything. keep an eye out for a cheap rex or hatch?

Re:91 teg (new car)
I have been to the state patrol many times and and it's not hard to pass it at all, they normaly don't check how well your car is put back together unless it REALY looks like ----... they probably will tell you to go ---- yourself if your car looks like it wouldn't be safe to drive on the road... good luck

Re:91 teg (new car)
if the hood is completely trashed. i have a hood from my 93 ls-se that was on the car when i hit a deer. remarkably, there isnt much damage at all.

Re:91 teg (new car)
keep the teg man, if you can find one at a junk yard, you can get those parts cheap, hell even new the parts aren't too much. too bad you're not near me, there's a 92 teg that was totaled from the back, the engine was already removed and the rest of the front end is mint. the yard that it's at sell their stuff cheap too :-\
