90' Cutlass Oil leak prob. little help???

i got a 90' cutlass for a beater last year. it has the 2.5l tbi engine. it started to leak oil from what seems like the timing cover. i know someone has to have had one of these before with a similar problem. i'm not sure if it is the timing cover gasket, or the main seal. i have yet to get it all apart, i'm inside warming up. its ------ 20 degrees outside.
thanks for any info

not alot of info but I have done front seals on those, get a speedy sleeve for the balancer just in case its groved up. I do suggest you wash it all up and see if thats the real leak or not.

It can only be the timing cover gasket or front crank seal, take the cover off and see. The front seal is in back of the timing cover.

Why the hell would you ask what size a bolt is instead of just looking at it yourself? :1

you should be able to do anything on your car with an adjustable wrench and a hammer.

any oil leak should not be too hard.

headgasket check

-run a bottle to coolant and check for bubbles
-check to see if there is oil coolant contamination

other oil leaks

pressure wash engine with all parts off car near leak.
run engine and look for drips.

there is some oil dye ---- you can use to to find out where its comign from.
