90 CRX oil pan material?

Is it steel or aluminum? If I could find a magnet, I could figure it out real quick, but I don't have one handy. I've searched for the last hour here and on HT, but I'm either getting nothing or way to many hits.

I'm researching what rod/flux I need to use to mapp gas braze a brass fitting to my oil pan and it's very different for Steel/Brass vs Aluminum/Brass.

I talked to Jeff on aim and he confirmed it's steel.

If anyone can recommend the proper brazing rod and flux to use, I'd appreciate that.

its steel, and use a coat hanger to braze the fitting in. It will be fine.

and stop bugging me on aim :P

I thought about using JB Weld and read about 20 posts on HT about the pro's and con's. The biggest con is waiting 24 hours for it to cure. I have an oxy mapp torch and coat hangers and brazing is a very strong bond and only takes about 20 mins for the whole process. Plus, it's different and something new to try, for me at least.
