89 civic turbo questions..

just wondering if I could bug you for some advice?? I am running B16a in an 89 Civic hatch and am in the process of installing a turbo...what would you recommend for tuning software? Should I stay with my obd0 ecu or move up to obd1 and install the conversion harness? I have a turbo that is set at 8psi of boost and the only thing I really have to finish right now is the downpipe and tuning it. I am running a front mount intercooler, i have bigger injectors that I could install ((DSM 440-450's) bluetops) i have a rising rate FMU which is not the best option I know. Any advice would be appreciated..thanks all..

for cheapness go with the obd0 and turbo edit or just spend the money on a conversion harness and get crome its up to you

obd0 will be fine, but isn't as fast as the obd1 ecu's. Poke around on pgmfi.org for a bit, there's a TON of information on remapping obd0 ecu's. I've had the best results with the pm6 personally, but your results may very well be different (I haven't owned an EF in a couple years now). You'll probably want a wideband o2 sensor to get it running, and those 450cc injectors are a GREAT idea. Just make sure you're aware of the difference between peak-and-hold and saturated style injectors.
