88 turboCRX's clutches?

I'm talking about the ones for sale in the classified section. How many of you guys are running these on a boosted D? I installed a new stock clutch and it just breaks loose at 8 psi. Is this Clutch Specialties unit gonna hold up? Please respond only if you are currently using one or if you have had issue with one. Thanks in advance. Have anyone here ran a SPEC clutch. My local speed shop sell them.

Used it...it's great. held 1bar of boost on my D15 no slipping...my neighbour is using one in his ZC @ 10 psi.
I used the unpsrung he uses the sprung.
It's rated to hold about 300 lb.ft torque so I don't see it slipping on a stock internal boosted D

I'm using the unsprung one. I have never even felt that thing give a hint of wanting to slip. It's the best clutch for the money IMO.

I have gone through ACT's, Centerforces, Dual diaphragm PP Clutchnet etc.

I am currently using a Clutch Specialties 6 puck sprung with a HD PP. Hands down the best one i have bought so far. I have taken it to teh track numerous times and still no slipping on a fully built D16a1 pushing 15psi.
HTH

You won't be disappointed.

ive been running my unsprung for about 6-7 months now and no probs, the pressure is just perfect, not too heavy... i have actually bought 2 so far! one for me and one for my lil cousin.

I believe I will buy a sprung one though. My wife may have to drive the car someday.
