88 ED on ebay... looks worthwhile?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1988-...QQcmdZViewItem

I was thinking about snagging it for about 200$ since the body looks to be in good shape. Run it into the ground in stock form then an LS swap with a 5 speed.
As far as the alt plug, can I just fix it with duct tape to get the jiggawhip home or what?

Go for it if you don't mind doing the dpfi->mpfi swap.

bah, pick her up and turbo it before running her into the ground. No point in thrashing it n/a.

----, I forgot about DPFI... how much does a swap go for if I vag out and do not source the junkyard parts and buy a omplete conversion? I was going to go to an LS anyways so it will I need anything special i will need besides the regular 0db1 conversion parts and ----?

There's no ground wire on alt. or is that's what he's talking about with that orange wire or whatever? That's a pretty clean 4dr though. Can't see any rust on the rear 1/4's so looks like a good chassis to start with. I like the LX's with the power options and color matched bumpers. But for 500 B.I.N you not losing out on much.

Agreed. I'll spot you cash if necessary and we will go pick it up on Tuesday or some ----. We need some four door pimpin goin on, and once I completely wreck my car we can swap my motor, tranny, and kit over to it. Rust free ED ftw.
