does anyone know iff the 88 hf had that stupid passive rear steering or whatever it was called? i know the SIs did, im just wondering about the hf

its not stupid.

its a differn't design in the lca - lower control arm
very similer to the integra type r's design
and not only did the 88 have it, but all jdm crx's have it

it is a far superior design in suspension, so blah :P

i've heard that the passive rear steering and aftermarket suspension parts are a recipe for snap oversteer (fun, but also scary)

Did the 89 si's have it? the ones that were from japan with the vin starting with J? i wanna know, i mean i do have factory sway bars and all that wonderful stuff, and cant wait to get the rex going so i can test out the handling.

look at your LCA and rear shocks, on the bottom where the LCA and shock meet, the 89-91 (non-passive) will have a 'fork' that goes around the LCA, the 88 (passive) will sit inside the LCA...

actually.. I heard that the passive rear steering is a result of the trailing arm, not the LCA ;)
