87 civic radiator in a 91?
Hey guys, i need to know if i can swap an 1987 3rd gen civic radiator in to my 91 civic engine compartment? the reason for this is that i need room for an square intercooler that i have and the rad in my civic is way too big so i need to make room, the rad off a 92 civic is too expensive, i managed to find a rad form a 1986-87 civic with thoes old carburated motors, will it still work? the rad in the 87 is the same size as the one from a 92 civic.

i'm sure you could do it, its just a matter of gettin hoses that work and mounts that hold it up. shouldnt be too tough, i just put a 91 civic radiator in a 86 crx, but only in order to get it to the kids house. wrecked the factory one in an accident and didnt want to pay the hundred some bucks to get it towed a ways. a little bailing wire and a knife to the hoses was all it took.
