one of the guys at work was telling me about the same thing that happened to him.

was the middle of the night, he hears someone in the house, grabs his hand gun, holds him in the living room at gunpoint till the police show up... what happens? they treat HIM like the criminal for holding someone at gunpoint that broke into his home, at night, with his wife and two kids sleeping in the house!....------ bullshit...


apparently you still have the right to have a gun, you just need to have it locked in the gun case and never use it... ::)

really, around here cops would rather you shoot the ------ dead and claim self defense, less paper work that way.
kill em all. id wait til i made positive id that it wasnt a family member or someone i care about. if someone comes into your home with the intention to steal something then there obviously desperate and who knows what else there capable of. For all we know, he could have been coming in to rape her 5 year old grand daughter, who knows. we live in a fucked up world

I've been thinking about getting a gun lately but there aren't any decent shooting ranges around here so it would just sit in my house and collect dust.

collect dust till it might save your life at least, buy a gun anyways, buy as many as you can really, ones that will be put on a ban list if it happens again preferably.
