Just installed same thing only 500 GB from Seagate, was $158 shipped from Newegg.com, sitting next to my 400 GB unit from OfficeMax for same $149 + tax price. http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m...x2bonespec.jpg |

Re: 650 gigs, $219.
Until last year I had trouble filling up a 40gb hard drive, so I moved up to a 100gb I got from a friend...and so far I've only used 16.5 GB of it. I'm gonna be building a new computer within a week or two so I'll take pics of the build.

Re: 650 gigs, $219.
Out of curiosity, what exactly do you do with these and why would someone need something like this? :l
I'm only using like 12% of my computer as of right now. I couldn't imagine needing more than 100%. :S __________________ Best Car Insurance | Auto Protection Today | FREE Trade-In Quote |
Re: 650 gigs, $219.
Movies! Try looking up axxo on torrents. I have a standalone divx player that connects directly to the TV and plays my downloaded ones right on it through the harddrive.
Games! My ps2 is chipped, right now I have 85 or so games for it. Really I just burn it and erase the image but when your downloading 8 games at a time at 1.5 to 4.2 gigs, it kinda kills space. PC games are great too. PORN! Do I have to explain this? With all the torrent sites out there, full length porn movies are a click away. download utorrent www.utorrent.com and search with www.torrents.to |
Re: 650 gigs, $219.
yeah torrents do take up lots and LOTS of HD space.. i max out my 40 gig everyday downloading torrents.
---- just downloading a vid, converting it to mpeg, then converting it to a dvd playable copy.. your looking at around 10 gigs right there. thats just for 1 video Pete knows how i roll :6 |
Re: 650 gigs, $219.

Re: 650 gigs, $219.
hahah
My 240gb gets slaughtered pretty quickly with bittorrent. I'm going to start backing up HDDVDs and compressing to fit on a DVD DL with .h264 so will need a bit of space. |

Re: 650 gigs, $219.
Torrents are the reason my last hard drive filled up so fast. I haven't gotten any on this one yet but I need to get me a copy of XP for my new setup. ---- Vista till the driver issues are figured out.
