65$ TullosTech DIY electronic boost controller
Here is the lastest to our EBC collection, DIY ebc kit starting at 65$ . Here is a bad picture of our prototype without the case. We will need testers pretty soon, but since this is based on our other design I doubt there will be any issues. I figure these guys will be on the market in less than a month. I'm looking for testers with v8s and v6s, I have plenty of 4s. This controller is open loop and comes with usb tuning software.
Thanks, Nick http://tullostechdownloads.hypermart...cs/DIY_EBC.JPG |

Re: 65$ TullosTech DIY electronic boost controller
If you need a professional tuner that does all V8 stuff, ie: Mustangs, Corvettes, SS trucks. Let me know. Im sure Mike at J&M Motorsports will try one out for you on multiple set ups.

Re: 65$ TullosTech DIY electronic boost controller
I'm in for one of these! Can you assemble it before you ship it and still charge me only $65? :)
Just kidding. You know some noob is going to ask you that! Bump for solid engineering. Craig |
Re: 65$ TullosTech DIY electronic boost controller
Sign me up, when will these bad boys be on the market?

Re: 65$ TullosTech DIY electronic boost controller
Do your boost controllers allow controlled boost creep? If yes, I want to buy one. If not, I want you to make one so I can buy one.

Re: 65$ TullosTech DIY electronic boost controller

By "TESTER" do you mean i have to buy one or does tht mean you will give me one lol because if you are willing to give me one i'm willing to install one on my 87 turbo supra lol

Re: 65$ TullosTech DIY electronic boost controller
The problem in the past is that almost half testers never get around to installing the controller for about a year or so. So those willing to put a few dollars down, show that they actually want it and will install/test it in a timely manor. :S If you know how to solve this problem, let me know because I'm all ears!
This controller is not as accurate as my $400 boost controller, but ---- its does the job and cost considerably less. The controller has three lights (ON,Low Boost, High Boost) , boost switch, and two knobs for dialing in low/high boost. You can lock the boost settings by using the windows software and a usb cable, but thats not required to tune the controller. This controller will not solve boost creep like our TullosTech EBC. Its very simple to install and very simple to tune. Just turn the dial until you get the boost you want then switch over to high boost and do the same thing. I'm guessing tuning this EBC will take less than one minute for most. This design will work with GM solenoids and I'm looking into humphrey solenoids. If anyone knows some other good 3 port boost solenoids, please let me know. I guess these guys will be on the market by Middle of May, probably before that. Like I said before, the hardware design is similar to our previous design... I doubt there will be any problems. I should have the EBC to my testers within two weeks and if nothing goes wrong we will be on the market two-three weeks after that. Nick |
Re: 65$ TullosTech DIY electronic boost controller
I don't want to solve boost creep. I want to create it. Design your boost controller to do that, and I will buy it.

Re: 65$ TullosTech DIY electronic boost controller
How does one select between low and high boost, just a switch?
|
Re: 65$ TullosTech DIY electronic boost controller
you switch from high to low boost using a switch or you can use a relay if your doing it with hondata two step or such.
|
Re: 65$ TullosTech DIY electronic boost controller
it would be nice to test. But my project wont be done for quite some time. and its an I6 ;)

Re: 65$ TullosTech DIY electronic boost controller
