Default 500 cad help needed

Hello...I am in the process of building up a 500 cadillac engine, and I'm wanting to run dual turbos on it. Can you guys help me out with wich ones to choose that will support 507 cubic inches @ about 85% v.e.? I'm not wanting to go too crazy, if there are some common ones that can be found in the junkyards that would be my best bet...I would appreciate any feedback good or bad please send it to satterlw@bellsouth.net

Welcome Caddyshack, its funny you say this.. My buddy ted is actually in process of doing a fully built 520 caddy Twin turbo setup. We are doing this junkyard style, 2 Toyota Supra CT26 turbos, along with a custom high rise duel quad intake manifold using 2 holly 750's. For intercoolers we are probably going to use 2 seperate Johnny race car IC's.

I will be documenting the entire thing. As far as what has been to the block etc etc, maybe ted (cadracer) can fill you in a bit better than I could.

Hey wow i got some one who has same idea i do. The block is from a 72 eldo an is bored .80 thou over with deck trued to crank centerline an the block has been completely debured. Useing forged slugs an h beam rods an did extensive crank work for windage an oil control. The heads fully ported an hoged to the max.All valve train modified for rpm stability an precision flow.Custom fabbed dual quad aluminum high rise with dual 750dp modified for blowthrough.Special ground cam just for the turbo setup....This is a winter project, trying to get a trans built right now that will handle the projected 800 to 1000 hp.This will compete with your turboed hondas... :P

man you guys friggin rock! I never thought I would get a response overnight lol...Are there any other companies besides mts that have parts for these engines? I found 2 87 turbo thunderbirds....would those turbos be sufficient?...I'm out here in the stix...somethings are hard to find lol and what kind of internals and compression ratios work best for turbocharging?

If youre' going to use stock internals ma sure you use turbos that will spool at low rpm becasue that motor won't like to spin very high all stock.
