Screw that, my cousin was doing the same thing one day; we went out to a field by his local church that they target practice at, and he was using a 1.5" thick piece of steel as his target and was shooting at it. Tim, go to his house today, I can show you the piece of steel, he has it underneath his porch beside that 3" exhaust I think, or atleast thats where it was the last time I saw it. It was some special type of bullet for his rifle, I have no clue as to the difference in bullets... his other bullets didnt go through, this was the only one that did...

You mean the 1/2" thick Rail Road Tie plate he was showin everyone a while back?

If I get a free minute I'll talk to him, but I highly doubt he shot through a 1-1/2" thick piece of steel. I won't believe it till I see it.

Maybe my thoughts are incorrect, I thought it was 1"-1.5". May be it was 1/2" I'm not sure. I could've sworn it was atleast an inch though
