Default Time for surveillance cameras

Me and my cousin had a bunch of ---- stolen from our garage today and i was woundering if anyone has had any experience with surveillance cameras. Such as where you can buy ---- like this. I thought about a fake camera but i dont think that would work, and when something else gets gone i wanna see who took the ----. Little ---- here and there has come up missing a few times, but today we went to finish working on my cousins boat and all the power tools we had out from the day before were gone ( skill saw, two cordless drills, cordless sawzall, battery charger, all the batterys) Then we looked around the yard and found out the powerwasher, a chainsaw, and a lawnmower are missing. Its gotta be some crackhead cause there is 5 fourwheelers in the yard and two cars that allways have the keys in them setting in the yard all the time. The garage stays locked but its easy as hell to get into with a credit card are something. I think im gonna call some pawn shops around here tommorrow and see if they had any of this stuff come today.

Booby-traps are a nice, cheaper alternative.

it sounds like you been had. they took your lawnmower? man that sucks. but you leave your key in your cars and fourwheelers? i wouldnt after that. i would go with the booby-trap for sure. on a weekend when you got some time to hang out with your cuzin. leave some valuables so people can see them and wait for them to come than either shoot them with bb-guns or beat them down and wait for the cops to come.

People always wait until they get hit until they get security

Camera are pretty much useless unless the person knows they are being minitorred

Even just spend $30 on the "AREA IS BEING SURVAILED BY CLOSED CIRCUIT CAMERA" signs, throw them around

we got a 6k surveillance system going :P This particular system is hooked up to 2 computers and runs 12 cameras I think and 6 monitors. You don't need all that, but check out ebay they have some decent stuff.

you should get enough cameras to cover the permiter without overlaping each other, they should be movement activated, then try and find a cheap tower and get a cheap 80 gig hardrive and have the camreas run on a continuous loop for 36 hrs so that you can check everyday or everyother day. It works well i hook up my friends like that after he got robbed
