ok thats whack , a 4g63 swapped car is bad ***

and 4g61t equiped cars can be very quick, the colts, summits and mirages are very fast with the swap on stock 14b and low boost 14~ they do 13's and 12's

just because you love hondas doesn't mean tha a mitsu can' be fast, i have had hondas dsm's and even swapped a summit with the same swap, and i loved my swapped car the most.

KUDOS man bas *** car

ok lets get things straight here:

1) not saying that my hyundai is the fastest thing on 4 wheels but when you spent $100.00 on the car and having a running dsm motor kicking in your garage from a trade like i have, you would do the same thing too.

2) i didn't really welded anything for the motor mounts and used all stock parts from the same year hyundai elantra. so it was pretty easy swap.

3) a k series swap would cost a arm and a leg just to do high 13s or whatever vs the money i spend on a stock dsm parts for my hyundai, so that k swap to me is a waste of time and money, AND how many 4g63t hyundai you know kicking around town, huh?

4) yes, i know turbo tony, i have meet with him before in his home town and i had my nickname "TURBOTOM" for about 6 years now, so i didnt copy no one. i give all the respect to turbo tony for doing what he did to that thing and makes me want to do more to mine. AND no he didnt put a hyundai elantra shell on a awd dsm which if you know anything about cars that both cars are unibody, which they dont have chassis, all 1 piece to the car.

5) yes, i went 14.3 and yes spining half track and no my clutch wasnt slipping (brand new act 2100). also i have a stock tranny which doesnt have LSD, which i wished i did. you honda guys are lucky cuz all you have to do is find a gsr tranny that is already equiped with a LSD from factory, i dont have that luxury so i have to install one in.

6) no, im no a retard cuz if i was i wouldnt be smart enough to do what i did, cuz a smart enough person could do what i did. it just go to show how immture you sound to everyone here.

listen i dont care if you dont like my car or not but someone said that i didnt do the swap, so im just proved that i did do it and i did everything myself with my own 2 hands. ill give all of honda guys credit when they do eveything right and when they do good times. i saw a crx last saturday with a k series swap doing 13.1 and i stood up and cheered for the guy cuz he took the time to build something nasty and creative. thats what im about, i like anything that crazy or unique and by bashing on me for doing something the same thing but 'HONDA" you call it a waste of time. im a dsm guy always have always will but, im not narrow minded to see what a person did to build something insane, if and you are that person that is narrow minded, will your losing out on something that you can't see passed hondas. will i said what i needed to say, and if you dont like what i said than dont read it, it is just a word of advise from a old school car lover.

had to cut extra sheet metal to fit in the motor because the pullies would hit the side of the engine bay and no it isnt a direct bolt on. the hyundai elantra that has a dohc 1.8 or 1.6 is a true direct swap. i just so happened to get a excel for cheap money thats all.

i dont think you understand. he CUT the body off an elantra and cut the body off a DSM shell minus the firewall and he welded the body of the elantra to the firewall/floorboards of the DSM. ive seen the car in person numerous times and he told me exactly how he did it while i was at his shop.

nobody is knocking your for doing the swap, if you like it cool. what were saying is dont pretend its something special. a K series swap is far more impressive since it takes much more work to actually install it.yours was essentially as hard as a B series swap: bolt in.
