Re: 450's

They should be fine with the cap broken. I have one broken on mine too and i don't think it will be a problem.

Re: 450's

ok i though so.... it will still deliver the fuel but just change the direction a little(i think thats right) cause the black part is concave to give it that spray jet effect

It shouldn't matter but the person who sold you those should have told you, that woiuld be the right thing to do. And if it happened in the mailing process there should be broken pieces in the box and he sux at package packing but not fudge packing.

That is all.

Re: 450's

I sold them to him.

When they were listed I know I had them and knew they were fine last time I saw them.

He already paid and said he needed them quick before I found out, and since I couldn't get to a computer and the pintle caps or whatever they're called won't hinder their performance, I sent them.

The first set of 450s I bought had 3/4 pintle caps broke, everyone said they'd work fine, and whenever I sold them I assume they worked fine because I never heard anything back from the buyer.

Since there's a gap between the cap and the nozzle, I don't see how it would be useful in directing atomized fuel. If it had any contact with the flow it would only restrict it.

As far as I know, them being gone won't hurt performance at all, or else I wouldn't have even sent them. I sent you a message either yesterday or the day before saying i'd send you some money back for them not being perfect, or I can refund it all if you wanna send back, just let me know what you wanna do.
