anyone know if it's possible to get any extra power out of a stock D16 (non-turbo) using 450cc injectors and a afc to tune them down. didn't know if the extra fuel would help any.

I think it would help maybe if you have some crazy NA mods like a real nice intake, header, exhaust, head porting, bigger throttle body, cams, ---- like that.

well 240cc injectors are good for like 6-8psi so no i dont think they would do much...

baciscally, i'll be running a stock D16 with a Y8 intake and TB, 4-2-1 header, exhaust, and perhaps an undrive pulley on the main crank. i've pulled the A/C. tryin' to decide if i should take the money from my scrapped turbo project, and get 450's and an afc, but i'll just buy some other parts for the suspension, if they aren't goign to help.

i'm actually running it in SCCA now, and the motor has to stay stock, but my class the intake/exhaust/injectors are open to change, along with other suspension, but nothing else in the engine. so i was thinking 450's might help, but if you think it won't make any difference, then i'll just go for the headers and get my Y8 intake (i was told that's the best flowing intake, before going aftermarket and big$$$$$).

Getting an adj. FP regulator and turning it up a few psi should work just fine.

for a little more than your 450s and afc would cost you could get an aftermarket intake if thats what you want
