it still cracks me up every time i see some kid in a civic at the drag strip doing double clutch style uber slow shifts though. if it werent for fatf1 talking that ----, i'd have less to laugh at.

I thought double clutching was for downshifts only and, furthermore, only cars with syncro issues that need more than just a throttle-blip rev match

What they need in the movie is a bunch of hard pipe hitting ------ with hmt setups who de-rice the cars and turn them into street cred underdogs. Also Rich Christensen should be in it

double clutching is only for unsyncronized transmissions to shift faster. For any modern car you are wasting your time double clutching. Rev matching is a good idea for any transmission, it lessens clutch wear and saves syncros

duely noted! i have to say the third one was the best of them all. granted they are all cheese. but i jsut say the 3rd one last week finally. i by no meens was all hyped to go see it opening day.
