.380 or 9mm?

Re: .380 or 9mm?
One of the cheapest handguns around, the Hi-Point. They are made in the USA too.
Get it in 9mm. The 380 round is simply a shorter 9mm, meaning less speed and energy. The 9mm has about 75% more energy than the 380. Also, 9mm is usually cheaper than 380 auto.

Re: .380 or 9mm?
Well its my days off and i work night shift so i have been up all night reading reviews on it. Almost everyone who bought one said that within the first 100 round break in period, they had a few jams. But after that it is perfect. The slide works very smooth apparently and the more its shot the better it gets. Although everybody seems to hate the clips becuase they are cheap *** stamped metal and only hold 8 rounds. But they offer 10 round clips for less than 20 bucks. And with the warrenty it doesn't matter if you are the first or the 100th person to own the gun. They will fix it for free no matter what happens. And its made in the usa. Im buying it today and running about 200 rounds through it hopefully. Ill post up some pics maybe.

Re: .380 or 9mm?
what are you going to be using the gun for? self defence or just target practice? or boath
the 9mm is superior in almost every way to the 380 but modern hollow points make the 380 a good stoper!
personaly i am abeliver in biger is better so id go .45
also maybe you would be better off looking for a used gun and get a beter brand cos hi points are ok but i wudnt put my life on one!
if you do get the hi point a throat job will make it reed much better.

No not like for protection or anything, just for fun to play with. I just shoot for the fun of it. Not even at targets. I shoot a lot of cedar trees with my shotguns cuz its easier than cutting them down. But really a 9mm that cheap just to shoot for fun. I bought a mossberg 12 guage for fathers day too. Starting up my new gun collection since my last ones got pawned by my brother.
