Re:350 sbc question.
And which one would that be sir? I shouldnt have touched this piece of ----... :(
And another question..Do I put the plug wires on clockwise following the fireing order. |
Re:350 sbc question.
What do you do? take out the distributor? or just take off the plug wires?
The firing order is 18436572 if I remember right?, either way its labeled on your intake manifold the correct order. |
Re:350 sbc question.

Re:350 sbc question.
well i see its kinda changed to just a meesage board for general questions now. :o
Yes the firing order is 18436572 an it rotates clockwise an if you are running a gm hei dist cap gm put the #1 plug on cap on the back side of the electical connectors. The connector stub should be pointing straight towards the steering column. But all that is thrown out the door if the dist has been removed an reinsatlled. Thats where you pull cap off an #1 plug out an put finger in hole an bump engine over till you feel compression then you roll engine the rest of the way till you line the timming mark up to 0 on the timing tab (Large indent is zero)then runn firing order per where dist rotor is pointing.Give that a try. |
