3000GT FMIC Kit Pics

Thought you all might want to see the latest creation out of the lab ;)

I've been hacking away at this project for awhile, and I figured I better get it done today (even though I'm behind on other orders - but I promise they'll be out tomorrow or Tuesday!!). This guy has let me have his car as a donor for the last three weeks, so I wanted to get it completed.

The kit includes a 31 x 14 x 2.75 FMIC :o (with an optional 8" high FMIC for those who are running lower boost and are on a tighter budget) with dual 2" inlets on the driver's side and a single 3" outlet on the passenger side, 2" steel mandrel bent piping from the turbos to the intercooler and 3" mandrel bent from the IC to the throttle body, silicone hose couplers on the 2" piping and black neoprene couplers on the 3" piping, as well as solid stainless steel high strength band clamps. I think it turned out pretty well.

The bottom photo is the stock BOV location. I decided to use a threaded fitting, so it is simply a matter of unthreading the tube for the stock BOV and threading in an adapter plate for an after-market BOV - no welding required.

good job man. those 3000gt/steath with twin turbo engine bays are a cluster ----, i would hate to ever have to work on that thing. i think iam going to try shove almost a complete powerstroke intercooler behind the bumper in my 96 hatch when iam turboed, someone said something about it not getting air at the top, but what the hey all stock radiators have spots where they dont get direct air flow, but it works. again good job on the 3000gt fmic
