Ive been doing some reasearch on wmat I hope will be my next project.I've allways liked the 89-95 Toyota pick up and think that the 22re engine has alot of potential.Plus its rear wheel drive ;)

Swaping a 2jz engine into a pickup seems like a lot of work.Im just going to boost the ---- out of the 22re.The engine is easy to work on and as cheap as the disposible D.

dude you read my mind, but im to poor to do it. i would deff stick with the 22re and as a matter of fact go with the 4wd version....---- rwd that bitch would ride out 4wd and boosted.

funny thing is i heard the mani doesn't even line up for ---- haha. gotta like bore out some of the holes to get it to even bolt down

If you can afford the cash for some pistons and rods for the new 2rz/3rz's are a bad little 4 cyl.

not true in the LEAST....the manifold fit perfectly wiht NO mods whatso ever

just wait for the new pics to come.....since the panhard rod broke leaving the track and trashed the rearend/bed. its' been cutout and smaller tires are on now... also, getting rid of the sihtty stock supra tranny and going with a built th350 and a more appropriate stall, and getting rid of the ----- ass PT67 in favor of a larger snail

I rate it 10/10 simply because its so clean and it all looks very well presented.

with just a minimal of tuning it was doing 460whp wiht the GIANT tires out back and a stock supra auto sucking up a lot of power.

it's getting retuned soon wiht a new TH400 on it...but still keeping the same PT67 baby turbo, oh and changing out to 28" tires from the 33's
